Over the course of six months, we documented the first human experiment involving a robotic hand connected wirelessly to a patient’s muscle using an innovative approach based on implanted magnetic sensors. We captured every stage—from patient selection and surgical muscle preparation to the very first trial of the robotic hand. The resulting photographs and edited videos have been showcased on broadcast TV, websites, and at conferences, and were featured on the cover of the prestigious scientific journal Science.
