My Approach to science Communication

I believe science communication is more than a “job”, it’s a passion, a challenge and a privilege.  I started working in the field more than 25 years ago, long before “influencers” existed and when science communicators in Italy were just a handful.

I was honored to work side by side with the best, Piero Angela, Italian iconic science journalist, I have interviewed hundreds of passionate scientists around the world, including five Nobel Prize winners. I have learned a lot and enjoyed to share. 

Now science has become even more central to our daily lives: from artificial intelligence to biotechnology, novel foods, quantum technologies and more, the present and future is filled with challenges and promises of science.

I believe clear and accessible science communication is key to driving business growth and building a more informed society and I’m proud to contribute.

My Philosophy:
Science Meets Storytelling

I am a scientist, with a PhD in biology and a fellowship at Harvard University. My career in science communication began among winners of a Young Investigators award in science writing, and  for long time I’ve been playing on both sides. This dual perspective allows me to fluently speak the language of research: I understand its pace, its challenges, and its methods. I see and share the excitement in the eyes of innovators paving new roads for human advancements.

In 2022 I founded Oneframe, Creative Science Communication, a niche company highly specialized in video production, multimedia content, storytelling for science and tech

Every project begins with a deep listening process of the client’s goal: we don’t just aim to “make a video” or “create content”; we seek to understand what can truly resonate with the audience we want to reach.

I believe in the value of human creativity and craftsmanship. While we exploit advanced AI tools to enhance and accelerate streamline processes, these are never a substitute for the human creativity, sensitivity, and storytelling ability that only people can provide.
